In short

This site does not set cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not process personal data. For visitor statistics I useUmami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. That's why there is no cookie banner.

Who is responsible

Jelle Simons, reachable via jelle@jellesimons.com. This site is a personal portfolio, with no commercial purpose.

Statistics via Umami

Umami collects anonymised, aggregated data about site usage, such as visit counts, which pages are viewed, country of origin and device or browser type. This data is only used to see which content is useful.

• No cookies or similar tracking technologies are placed on your device.
• Your IP address is not stored. It is briefly used to create a daily, non-reversible hash and then discarded.
• Visitors are not identifiable and are not tracked across other sites or over multiple days.
• No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

The statistics run on Umami Cloud (EU region) or on a self-hosted server within the EU. More on how Umami handles privacy: umami.is/docs.

If you email me, I use your email address and message only to reply. I don't keep those messages longer than necessary and don't use them for anything else.

Third-party services

Fonts are downloaded when the site is built and served from this domain, so your browser never requests anything from Google Fonts. Links to GitHub and LinkedIn open on their own websites, with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Because no personal data is processed, there is nothing to view, correct or delete. If you still have a privacy question about this site, send a message tojelle@jellesimons.com.
